"A well designed and constructed piece of furniture. Pricey, however the quality of timber, hardware and the flexibility of use make it worth it. Lower level useful for cat feeder and water fountain, The hammock holds off the the grooming tools and toys. Easily converted into additional seating in the family room. Wish this cat tree had been available when we adopted our first cat baby 50 years ago."
"Firstly was very impressed with the quality and engineering of this product. It is evident how much thought and planning has been undertaken in its design. The transferring from bench to tower is so smooth and simple and I feel it is a quality piece of furniture. Initially my cats were completely disinterested in it and when I was not home, I would leave it as a bench. Eventually, they began using the bottom of the bench, gradually graduated to the bottom shelf, and now one of my cats spends most days, sleeping at the top of the tower. Unfortunately, being a large rag doll, he doesn’t fit in the hammock, which is usually his favourite style of resting place. Every day he tries it, just to see if he fits, before making his way to the top of the tower. Because the cats use it all the time, I leave it opened out for them. I feel that I will only close it, when my grandchildren visit. I can see them wanting to clamber on it. Thank you Billyhops for this fantastic piece. I envisage it outlasting the many other cat towers, I have purchased to date. Highly recommend, for anyone cat owner, who may still be uncertain."
"Literally the only cat tree my cat will use! The Bench Tower is carefully constructed, providing a sturdy and safe climbing area for my cat. I love that the tower comes fully constructed - I only needed to attach the velcro padding. Plus the folding mechanic is incredibly smooth! Every visitor gets a full demonstration. I also appreciate the personal approach to communication, lots of updates so I knew when to expect the final product. "I’m really happy with the Billyhops cat tower. It has such a clever, modern design and fits nicely into the home without feeling bulky. I also love that it’s easy to move and put away when needed. My cats are still getting used to it, but they’ve already claimed the extension platform with the bed as their favourite little spot to relax. It’s been nice seeing them slowly warm to it. It feels sturdy and was easy to put together. The only thing to note is there’s no scratching section, so you may want a separate scratcher. We’re currently using a tall scratch tower next to it, which my cats are obsessed with. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 is because it’s missing an add-on scratch post. My cats absolutely love scratching and climbing, so a matching add-on scratch wall would be a fantastic option in the future. Overall, a really lovely piece that works well for us."
"Beautiful piece of furniture. The round hamock is a great idea but it's too small and feels unstable. The height of the highest part is just a little too high as it gets wobbly up there. It needs to be closer to the step below and the slot it fits into needs to be wider to give it stability. The whole concept of this is excellent but it needs to evolve into a more stable piece to give the cats more confidence in using it. I'm not confident that my cats will use it to its full features and capacity."
